VIP RECEPTION (By Invitation Only) The VIP reception offers an opportunity for Freedom Club members, elected officials, leaders of service organizations, and leaders in the business community to socialize prior to the start of the annual parade, generally 1:30 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. The Spirit of the Fourth VIP reception committee offers a variety of food, desserts, beer, wine, and bottled water that are all generously donated by local businesses each year.
We want to extend a special thank you to Windermere Homes & Estates, Rancho Bernardo for years of hosting our VIP reception in their offices in Bernardo Plaza.

MEMBERSHIP IN THE FREEDOM CLUBMembers of the Spirit of the Fourth Freedom Club are patriotic residents who support the Spirit of the Fourth through their annual donation. Funds generated from Freedom Club membership are
used to defray the
expense of staging the Independence Day Celebration. The Spirit of the
Fourth is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization so memberships may be tax
deductible.

Freedom Club membership begins at $150.
Spirit of the Fourth now provides a method of making the required donation on-line. Click here to access a "QR Code". The QR can be used to make an on-line Freedom Club Membership donation with your cell phone. Simply scan the QR Code and follow the instructions. There are two option for processing the donation: PayPal or Credit Card. If you do not have a PayPal account, you should only select the credit card option after entering the amount you wish to donate.
Benefits of Membership include:

invitation to attend the VIP Reception on the Fourth of July along with
city, county, and state officials, and our Congressional
representatives,
- Reserved seating at the parade and the evening entertainment/fireworks display, and
- Reserved parking at all events.
